Throughout the process, we remain mindful that this is your home—designed around how you want to live.
The Dream
If you haven’t already, it’s helpful to put together a collection of ideas, styles, and features you’d like to include, along with a working budget that allows for a contingency. Even a simple hand-drawn sketch can be valuable—it doesn’t need to be detailed or refined.
Bringing these along to our initial meeting helps us clearly understand your vision and expectations. Please note, we don’t charge for this first meeting—it’s an opportunity for both of us to ensure we’re aligned before moving forward.
The Meeting.
The initial meeting is an important step, as it helps define the scope of your project and confirm that it aligns with our area of expertise. It also gives you the opportunity to experience our work firsthand and gain a clear understanding of the process you’ll be part of.
During this meeting, we’ll outline our level of involvement.
The Designing
Once you’ve decided to proceed, we’ll guide you through a series of checklists to gather all the information needed to begin the initial concept drawings. At this stage, we work closely with you to refine the design into a clear, well-resolved outcome.
It’s worth noting that making changes during the concept phase is significantly easier and more cost-effective than making alterations during construction.
The Finishing
At this stage, your final concept plans are complete. Many of our clients choose to have us continue working alongside them, assisting with the selection and refinement of exterior and interior colours, finishes, and materials.
This ensures the project maintains continuity with the original design intent and overall vision.
